CHASING THE WADA DREAM
What does blockchain mean for Africa?
That’s the basic question for the documentary that describes
the initiative called Wada in its early stage.
We follow the story of Mercy and Josh, Megan and Manfo, Afia and Daniel and many others who are bringing education and new opportunities with this modern technology for Africa.
​The documentary was filmed in several locations including London, Accra, Douala and Lausanne.
The film is supported by Project Catalyst - decentralised innovation fund.
First part of the movie explains the basic mechanisms of this fund.
The documentary is produced and directed by Petr SmÄ›lík, Czech film & TV editor and director. His previous movie A Year in a Village received Best Documentary Film Award at Acampadoc Panamá festival 2020.

31 of those are rare, meaning they come in just one unique copy.
The NFTs are created and AI modified based on the scenes and characters from the movie.

It’s not allowed to do paid public screenings.

Price of the film NFT is 30 ada. We offer a discounted price
of 25 ada for Lovelace Club and Afrixx holders.
You can resell your film NFT to another person. The royalty from the resale is set to 7%.
